BRINGING JOY AND HOPE TO A FAMILY IN SOUTH VIETNAM
In the quiet countryside of Đồng Tháp, Vietnam, lives a poor family – Lai, the father, Diệu, a devoted mother, and Duyên, their daughter – whose resilience fill their home with hope despite life's challenges. Lai (68) works diligently raising ducks, but his earnings barely stretch beyond providing the basic necessities. Diệu (65) selflessly cares for Duyên (25), their disabled daughter, her days spent in unwavering dedication to her family. Their home, a makeshift refuge pieced together with random scraps, tells the story of their hardship. The roof leaks, daylight peeks through small gaps in the ceiling, and the concrete foundation struggles to bear the weight of a better life.
